Position Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to clients as required; may include bathing, transferring, feeding
• Support clients with activities as assessed and required; may be in the client's home or in the community
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill working with individuals with various types of dementia and/or disabilities
• Assess and record client’s physical and psychological well-being - Reliable transportation - Strong oral and written communication skills - First aid/CPR certification - Post secondary education in related field
• Ability to pass vulnerable positions screening check - Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, household chores
• Medication reminders
• Advocacy for client’s well-being

You'll be required to complete a background/police/reference checks and must be licensed by either Personal Support Network of Ontario or must have a Personal Support Worker program from a college or university.
